To use your MagicBand with FastPass+ service, both your MagicBand and valid theme park admission must be linked to your Disney account. If you have not already done so, please link your ticket, Annual Pass or package to your Disney account.
2 – How to Customize Your MagicBand If you click on the main menu and choose the “Reservations and Tickets ” option, you should see your resort reservation listed. If you do not see it, click on “ Link a Resort Reservation” You will need the reservation number and the last name on the reservation.
In order to link your tickets, first you need to create your My Disney Experience account (if you haven’t already done so) and add all of your family members who will be traveling with you. Next, just log in and click on Park Tickets and then click on Link Tickets.
To link your confirmation number, you’ll want to log into your My Disney Experience account and choose “My Plans.” You’ll be prompted to identify your Planning Party; then scroll to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” From here, click the blue “ Tickets & Memory Maker” link.
Any tickets you link to your account will automatically be linked to your existing MagicBands for future use. To link new tickets, log-in to your My Disney Experience account. MagicBands do have a battery life of up to two years, according to Disney, so keep that in mind if you are planning on using them in the future.
Can you transfer a magic band to someone else?
Once a MagicBand or card is linked to your Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person. In addition to touching your MagicBand or card to a touch point, you will be required to scan a finger to enter the parks or enter a PIN code to uniquely identify yourself when making purchases.
How do I activate old magic bands?
You simply have to head to My Disney Experience and enable your band for your next trip. It will link up all your new reservations, tickets and credit card. To reactivate an old MagicBand, log in at disneyworld.com.
How do I activate my Magic Band?
- Create or sign into your Disney account.
- Link your annual pass to your Disney account. Your pass may have been linked automatically when you purchased it on disneyworld.com.
- Activate your pass at any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window or Disney Springs Guest Relations location.

If you have recently made a booking you will need to wait 48 hours to be able to link your booking in My Disney Experience. Please note access to Dining reservations only opens 180 days before arrival.
How do I reassign my Disney tickets?
To do so, visit the My Reservations section of My Disney Experience, locate the ticket you wish to reassign and select the “ Reassign Ticket ” link to the right of the ticket. Tickets can be reassigned until their first usage. Once they are used, tickets cannot be reassigned.
