Any tickets you link to your account will automatically be linked to your existing MagicBands for future use. To link new tickets, log-in to your My Disney Experience account. MagicBands do have a battery life of up to two years, according to Disney, so keep that in mind if you are planning on using them in the future.
You can absolutely link your retail MagicBand to your current tickets, reservations and My Disney Experience account. Any MagicBand that is added to your My Disney Experience account and that is “active” will have your reservation and ticket information on it.
Can someone else use my Magic Band 2020?
